Door-to-door, it took 38 hours! Taxi to Gatwick, then four flights, via Dubai, Singapore & Brisbane to Auckland. The only problem, apart from extreme boredom, was a two-hour delay caused (somewhat surprisingly) by fog in Dubai. Wendy's brother, Mike, met us in Auckland, and drove us the three hours to Tauranga, where Anna was waiting to greet us.
